Calamari Network is a private layer built for the entire Kusama ecosystem. Built on the Substrate framework, Calamari Network is natively compatible with other projects and parachain assets including wrapped major cryptoassets.
Calamari, Manta Network’s canary-net (the canary-net is an early, highly experimental version of Manta Network, where all new features will be released and tested first), is the plug-and-play privacy-preservation parachain built to service the Kusama DeFi world. A Fair Token Launch
Calamari Network Defi is the first community-driven deflationary utility token where rebate rewards, redemption rewards, and token burns are generated from the Calamari privacy-preserving network usage. The Initial Distribution of KMA is up to 10 billion tokens. There will be no new token generation unless KMAs for the crowdloan are consumed.
The Calamari token ($KMA) is a utility token that rewards token holders with a rebate and redeem mechanism on MariPay and MariSwap usage fees. $KMA has a burn function for redemption. Moreover, $KMA also has governance and other extended functions.

What Is Manta network
The problem they see today is that the blockchain lack privacy, interoperability, and usability, which trickles down into many other issues. That’s why we’re building Manta Network, an interoperable and private protocol for the DeFi stack, with a privacy-preserving decentralized exchange as our first use case. We’re building it as a layer-1 solution, which means that privacy will exist in the core architecture, rather than a feature sitting on top of another blockchain. By using Substrate, they can take advantage of the interoperable ecosystem that Polkadot brings.
Private Manta Network
Calamari Network Defi are able to do this through a process called minting. Long story short, a user can initiate a coin-minting transaction by depositing a base coin (e.g., Polkadot). The Manta Network receives the deposit and generates a privacy-preserving version of it (e.g., private-Polkadot).
Network Services
Manta Network offers a variety of services powered by its ZKP-based privacy technology. We are launching with two premiere services, MantaPay and MantaSwap. Manta Network will use its technology to power Polkadot’s on-chain privacy.
MantaPay Manta
Pay offers on-chain private transaction of any parachain assets. Users are able to privately send wrapped BTC, ETH, DOT and other major cryptoassets as well as parachain assets to any wallet address on Manta Network.
MantaSwap
Calamari Network Defi MantaSwap offers a private decentralized exchange. Users can use MantaSwap to trade for various major cryptoassets and parachain assets without leaving Manta Network, which ensures anonymity of the swap wallet address.
