This is where you will access repair, service, and diagnostic information from Mitchell’s comprehensive database of repair information. Use the scroll bars to scroll up and down within the article display. Links for Headings, Figures, and Tables appear at the top of the article. You can use any of these links to get to a hyperlinked listing of these items. Hyperlinked (underlined) text within the article allows you to open referenced Figures or jump to other articles
Purchased a pre-paid card and would like to use the Product
Before you can use Mitchell 1 DIY, you need to specify your vehicle and create an account/login for accessing the repair information for your vehicle. Creating an account with a pre-paid Activation Number is quick and easy. Just go to the Mitchell 1 DIY Home page and click the Subscribe link. Then select your Vehicle from the Year, Make, and Model screens to create your account. Choose Activation Number as your Payment Type, and enter it from your Pre-Paid card on the Select Payment Type screen. Then follow the on-screen instructions to complete your account creation process.
Create Account
Creating an account in Mitchell 1 DIY is quick and easy process. Just go to Mitchell 1 DIY Home page, and click the Subscribe Now link. You will select a vehicle, choose a UserName and Password for your account. You will also need to select a method of payment for your subscription. You can pay by either entering an Activation Number from a pre-paid card or your credit card information or PayPal for billing. You will need to provide your name, address, and e-mail address. All personal information you enter is protected by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. Once you have created an account, you can begin accessing information for your vehicle.
Expired Subscription
Even though your subscription has expired, your Mitchell 1 DIY account is still active, and you can still login to your account. Once you have logged in to your account, you can activate/extend your expired subscription from the Account Management screen. You can pay for your subscription extension either by entering an Activation Number or your credit card or PayPal information. For more information on how to extend your subscription, login to your account, and go to the online Help from the Account Management screen.
