Trading Tools

Once you connect your web3 wallet, you can exchange one crypto for another directly from the Dex Guru Exchange interface in the Trading Section. Keep in mind that when you’re buying or selling crypto via our interface, you interact with smart contracts deployed on public chains like Ethereum or BSC. They do not control your transactions and couldn’t stop a transaction or attempt to reverse a transaction after it occurred. You’re the only one ultimately responsible for any transactions.

Use percentage buttons to allocate only that percentage of an asset from your wallet to a given trade. This way, you can sell 50% of all your tokens in 2 clicks. First, by pressing the 50% button and then the sell button. If this is the first time you are making a transaction with a specific token, you’ll have to complete a token approval transaction. You only need to press Approve/Sell button once.

Before finalizing a trade, it needs to be confirmed. Once you approve the token spending limit in your wallet (if needed), wait for the Swap Confirmation pop-up. Pay close attention to the Swap Confirmation pop-up shown below.

Market Selector

Dex Guru Exchange Explore on-chain markets in the top left corner. It will show the name of a token, its volume over the last 24 hours, and its price. You can search for tokens and add them to your favorites by pressing the heart button.

Note: All settings are stored on your browser’s local storage. Once you change your browser or clear cache, all settings (including favorite tokens) are wiped off. In this section, you can also see assets at your connected wallet by pressing under the wallet tab.

Token Approvals Necessary

When you are using a decentralized Dex Guru Exchange that is based on smart contracts, you must first approve each token that you plan to trade. Decentralized exchanges use smart contracts on public blockchains such as Ethereum or BSC to execute transactions. To use a smart contract, you must 1) permit it to validate your token balance, and 2) allow it to transfer the number of tokens that you wish to trade from your wallet.

API

They are sitting on a pile of trading data that is not easily accessible: Trading View UDF feeds, DEX trades, OHLC, trading volume, you name it. API is coming around Q3 2021. If you want to get early access register your interest below.

Security

When you’re trading on DexGuru you’re interacting with smart contracts deployed on public blockchains such as Ethereum or BSC. At the moment we use 0x protocol API for the most optimal orders routing and executing. In practice, it means that ERC20 token approvals are going directly to “0x: Exchange Proxy smart contract” at 0xdef1c0ded9bec7f1a1670819833240f027b25eff (same address for Ethereum and BSC).
