Coinbase Cryptocurrency think achieving our mission is the highest leverage way to bring about more economic freedom, innovation, efficiency, and equality of opportunity in the world. Each member of our team—every engineer, designer, kitchen team member, lawyer, writer, support coordinator, recruiter, and product manager—plays an important role in helping us achieve our mission.
What Is Coinbase
In 2012, Coinbase had the radical idea that anyone — anywhere — should be able to easily and securely access Bitcoin. We see cryptocurrency as the future of money and a catalyst for creating an open financial system around the world. Today, more than 35 million people in over 100 countries trust Coinbase to buy, sell, store, use and earn cryptocurrency.
We’ve taken a huge challenge and made it into the mission: To create an open financial system for the world. To achieve this, we are building a team of smart, creative, passionate optimists, the kind of people who see opportunity where others see roadblocks. If this sounds like you,
The values inform Coinbase Cryptocurrency behavior and the choices they make every day. As a result, our culture is a model of the world we’re trying to build: transparent, joyful, curious, and fast-moving. The values are a large part of why Coinbase is a great place to work, and why we’ve been successful. They are much more than words to us (and we have the emojis to prove it).

Enable 2-Factor Authentication (2FA)
When you log certain the primary time, a pop-up will show up and ask you to enable the 2FA, which can help in increasing your account security. If you’re new 2FA, you’ll got to download the Google Authenticator app then scan the QR (or enter the key key) so as to urge a 1-minute changing code.
After completing these three steps, you’re through with fixing your account.
Funding your account with USD
US customers residing in a state where Coinbase offers service can fund their Coinbase accounts with USD via bank-wire or ACH transfers. Adding a USD payment method is currently not available on the Coinbase Pro mobile app. Please use the Pro website for this action. Deposits are available on the Pro mobile app by going to the Portfolios page and tapping the Deposit button in the top right-hand corner.

How long will it take to deposit/withdraw from my bank account?
ACH
Bank Account deposits made to Coinbase Pro are sent via the ACH bank transfer system, which typically takes 3-5 business days* (which can be as many as 7-10 calendar days, depending on the timing of weekends and other bank holidays) to complete after initiating a purchase.
You may see the funds immediately debited from your bank account when you initiate the transfer, but they will not appear in your Coinbase Pro account until the transfer has moved between the banks and cleared in our bank account.
Wires
Bank wire transfers may be credited to your Coinbase Pro account on the same day if submitted by 1:00 PM PT. Otherwise, funds will typically be available after one business day.
Fee Structure
HOW IS MY 30 DAY VOLUME CALCULATED?
Your fee tier is based upon total USD trading volume over the trailing 30 day period. Transactions made on books quoted in USD, e.g. BTC-USD, are counted as the total USD amount of each filled order. Transactions made on non-USD books are converted to USD based on the most recent fill price on the respective book. For example the USD volume of a purchase of 1 ETH on the ETH-BTC book, will be immediately converted based on the most recent fill price on the ETH-USD book.
MAKER VS. TAKER
When you place an order at the market price that gets filled immediately, you are considered a taker and will pay a fee between 0.04% and 0.50%. When you place an order which is not immediately matched by an existing order, that order is placed on the order book. If another customer places an order that matches yours, you are considered the maker and will pay a fee between 0.00% and 0.50%. When you place an order that gets partially matched immediately, you pay a taker fee for that portion. The remainder of the order is placed on the order book and, when matched, is considered a maker order.
