The trader pays 0.3% of the transaction amount as a transaction fee and swaps his/her X token into a Y token. When swapping X ↔ Y tokens, the exchange rate is determined by the ratio of the number of X and Y tokens in the X-Y liquidity pool. Traders swap their assets for a variety of purposes.
