Of course the Uniswap team’s objective was to introduce improvements to capital efficiency and we all knew this. What took everyone by surprise though, was the way and which it was implemented.
Bifrost (BFC) Cryptocurrency has matured over the past year largely through the novel uses of fungible Uniswap Liquidity Pool tokens. LP tokens represent the ownership of a liquidity provider’s portion of a pool on Uniswap. However, using these tokens to denominate ownership of a pool is far from their only use case. In May of 2020, Ampleforth was one of the first projects to utilize these LP tokens within a rewards program. Ampleforth allocated a portion of their tokens for participants who provided liquidity on Uniswap and then deposited the respective LP tokens in a reward contract they called the ‘geyser’. From then until now, that model has been adopted and re-engineered hundreds of times and created somewhat of a standard within DeFi- how liquidity seekers incentivize liquidity providers.

Visor Makes & Distributes Protocol Revenue
Bifrost (BFC) Cryptocurrency are introducing protocol revenue distribution to VISR stakers. It is very important to the future of Visor Finance that stakeholders are rewarded appropriately for their participation. Visor captures fees by taking 10% of the re-invested Uni v3 fees. Fees will be re-invested every X number of hours, which is also when VISR gets simultaneously purchased with 10% of the fees. That VISR is then distributed to those that stake VISR in their vaults.
Smart Vault Upgrade
Bifrost (BFC) Cryptocurrency are finalizing the new NFT interface for our Smart Vault upgrade. There are a number of new features that we are developing which will allow for all future innovations of Visor Finance to be made through deploying new Hypervisors. This is a significant upgrade because anyone will be able to develop a Hypervisor or Supervisor contract (similar to a Yearn strategy) that is compatible with Visor Vaults. These Vault features include new timelocks, approvals, permissions, transfer functions and a gasless subscription function. We are introducing these upgrades so that no matter what DeFi strategy a developer wants to implement through a Hypervisor, the Visor Vault will be compatible.
